Stanford, Harvard, Columbia Universities and Dartmouth College game the Taxpayers for BILLIONS

It’s beginning to look like the nations top Ivy League schools are well entrenched in the good ol boy network.  A study by OpenTheBooks.com has uncovered that Stanford, Northwestern and the Ivy League universities have managed to collect a combined $33 billion in taxpayer-funded grants and contracts and another $12 billion in tax breaks on their massive growing endowments over the last five years.  And they want more of your money as well.

It’s reported that U.S. taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and other federal payments into these top 10 elite universities are pushing $7 billion per year.

My question is, Why are we still giving them all of this money?  They truly Do Not Need it, and this has become a form of gluttony, but instead of consuming mass quantities of food, they devoir taxpayers’ money.

We should be giving that money to other schools, mainly K through 12 as they are the foundation for all education, and you are very well aware how those grades are failing miserably and have been declining for years.

According to an article in the Washington Times, “Stanford University led the way with $7 billion in grants and contracts. Columbia University was second with $5.9 billion. Harvard University was fifth with $3.3 billion over the 2018-2022 period. Dartmouth College was the only Ivy not to get at least $1 billion.”

The article goes on to say “Endowments for the 10 schools studied grew from $172.2 billion in 2018 to $237 billion at the end of last year and OpenTheBooks projected the total will reach $1 trillion over the next 25 years.”

I don’t know about you, but I think those universities are doing just fine, and to continue to give wildly the BILLIONS of dollars of taxpayer money is a sham.

Liberals are always talking about Americas wealthy getting all the tax breaks and how they feel it’s criminal.  Well, it’s time to turn off the faucet of cash to these so called elite schools and spread those funds to the regular folks for a change.

The Harvard University endowment, valued at $49.444 billion as of June 30, 2022, is the largest academic endowment in the world. Its value increased by over 10 billion dollars in fiscal year 2021, ending the year with its largest sum in history.

Stanford has a $40.9 Billion Fund

Columbia University’s endowment stands at $14.35 billion as of June 30, 2021

As of June 30, 2022, the College’s endowment is valued at $8.1 billion
